The man charged with a hate crime after a confrontation with Black Lives Matter supporters on Hertel Avenue in August was due in Buffalo City Court for his arraignment Thursday morning. But Michael Cremen already informed the court earlier this week he wouldn`t be showing up. And Cremen`s email sent to the court Tuesday evening, in which he raised objections over wearing face masks, led Erie County District Attorney John Flynn to conclude the Cattaraugus County man may pose a danger to the community.
